New guidance on Safer Sleeping – Lullaby Trust

Date: Tuesday, 23rd Jul 2019 | Category: News Category

The Lullaby Trust and Public Health England have launched new guidance for parents on reducing the chance of babies dying suddenly with no explanation, known as sudden infant death syndrome, SIDS, or cot death. Tips include: always place your baby on their back to sleep; keep your baby smoke free before and after birth; give your baby a clear, safe sleep space, in the same room as you; never sleep with your baby on a sofa or armchair.
