The most vulnerable in Worcestershire are still being targeted by scams

Date: Wednesday, 08th Apr 2020 | Category: COVID-19 Category

We’re aware that people are still targeting vulnerable people who are self-isolating to make fraudulent offers of help.

The WSAB and County Council would like to remind people to try and use existing or trusted community groups, including family, neighbours and friends for any help you might need.

Our advice is, if you’re not sure about the offer of help, then ask the person to leave their details and talk to someone you trust about it.

We would also strongly recommend that you do not give out your cashpoint card or pin number.

The County Council have launched “Here 2 Help” to provide help and support to those who need it, and to encourage residents to support their local communities during these testing times. For further information please visit the website:  http://www.worcestershire.gov.uk/here2help
